What’s up you guys? Everyone doing well?
I hope you are just as ready and as excited as I am for our February Book Club Challenge!
Our next read is going to be The Yellow World by Albert Espinosa.
This book was strongly recommended to me by a lovely witty friend of mine, so I am confident this is going to be a good one.
Here are some quotes from the cover:
- ‘A spiritual classic’ – Sunday Times
- ‘A word-of-mouth sensation’ – Guardian
- ‘A unique, uncategorisable, funny, energetic rush of a book…shines with comedy and grace’ – Independent
You can just anticipate it is going to be worth the time. I will let the author’s words directly introduce you to the read:
What is the yellow world? It is a way of seeing life differently. It is a world the colour of the sun; a world that makes you happy. It has no rules. It is in the pages of this book…
I am really looking forwards to reading this book with you! I will check-in on the 10th of February with our first Q&A. The questions will cover everything up to page 73.
If you are going to read The Yellow World with me, please let me know in the comments below! And don’t forget to hashtag #ellysdiarybc if you decide to share some pictures of you reading along on Instagram.
I can’t wait to hear and see from you!
Bye for now!
Love, Elly XO
